City of Norman Seasonal Clean Up

The City of Norman conducts a city wide clean up twice a year for Residential customers each fall and spring. Generally held in October and April. Keep watching The City of Norman website for dates when scheduled.

 

City of Norman 2024 Residential Spring Clean-Up

April 6           Residential customers who have Monday polycart service 

April 13         Residential customers who have Tuesday polycart service

April 20         Residential customers who have Wednesday polycart service     

April 27         Residential customers who have Thursday polycart service

May 05         Residential customers who have Friday polycart service

 

The above schedule also applies to rural customers. Rural customers do not need to call, please have items out on your designated day. Make sure your items are out by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled Saturday.

Residents may place their items at the curb no earlier than one week before scheduled collection day. We are not  able to accept yard waste of any kind, remodeling or demolition debris such as broken concrete, bricks, lumber, sheetrock, shingles ,  junk cars, or any hazardous waste such as tires, batteries, paints, etc.  Polycarts, wagons, wheelbarrows, etc., are not to be used as containers for clean up items. The Transfer Station at 3901 S. Chautauqua, will be open and free on these Saturdays for any Norman sanitation customer, so you may haul your own if you wish.   Remember to take a current City of Norman Utility bill when you go.

CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS IS NOT CONSIDERED PART OF THE SPRING CLEANUP AND WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE TRANSFER FACILITY AT THE NORMAL GATE RATE.
