Communications

The Communications Division works to provide an efficient and effective median between the public and the public safety officers that serve the citizens and visitors of Norman. The division is responsible for taking and dispatching all calls for service for the Norman Police Department, the Norman Fire Department, Norman Animal Welfare, Norman Regional Health System EMSSTAT, and Little Axe Volunteer Fire Department.

Russell Anderson serves as the division commander overseeing four communication supervisors, 20 communication officers, and one communications technician.
