Request a Police Record

Complete the following form to request a Police Record from the Norman Police Department. Most requests will be processed within 48 hours of the receipt of request. Video redaction, audio and photo processing time will vary. 

Police reports and records can also be requested by mail, email, fax or in-person at the Norman Police Department. To request a record using any of these options, please utilize this form or the online request form below. Due to current staffing constraints, all requestors are asked to mail in a copy of their request form with proper payment. 

The Norman Police Department Records Section is located at 112 W. Daws Street and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. The Records Section is closed Saturdays and Sundays along with certain holidays.

Requesting Party or Agency Contact Information 

All digital records requests (911 calls, photographs, videos) require a $30 deposit before the request can be processed. 

By submitting an online records request, you agree to contact the Records Division during regular business hours to process a $30 deposit (plus a $3 processing fee) via credit card over the phone. If a deposit is not received within 72 hours of the request being submitted, the request will be discarded. Any remaining balance must be paid prior to release of the records.
