Ward meetings scheduled to help inform Norman voters

UPDATE, 8/11/22: Additional opportunities to learn about the upcoming election have been scheduled through Norman City Council members. See details below.

 

WARDS 1 & 6

Councilmember Brandi Studley, Ward 1, and Councilmember Elizabeth Foreman, Ward 6, will host a joint meeting with staff members on 8/16/22 immediately following the 5 p.m. City Council Study Session at City Hall, 201 W. Gray. Following information shared about election propositions, Ward 1 constituents are welcome to visit with their councilmember about matters or issues specific to Ward 1.

 

WARD 5

Ward 5 Councilmember Rarchar Tortorello will host a virtual meeting alongside City Attorney Kathryn Walker, via Facebook Live, on the evening of 8/18/22. Additional information about the stream will be made available at: https://www.facebook.com/rarcharfornorman

 

WARD 7

Ward 7 Councilmember Stephen Holman will host two come-and-go events to take questions on the upcoming election or other Ward 7 and City matters. The first will be on 8/14/22 at Cobblestone Creek Clubhouse, 1350 Cobblestone Creek Drive; the second will be on 8/21/22 at Reaves Park, 2501 Jenkins Avenue. Both meetings will be from 1-3 p.m.

Published 8/8/22: Norman City Councilmembers Helen Grant, Ward 4, and Lauren Schueler, Ward 2, will host meetings to help inform Norman voters about the upcoming special election slated for August 23, 2022.

 

WARD 4 MEETING

The Ward 4 Meeting will take place at 6 p.m. 8/10/22 in the Redbud Room of Norman Public Library Central, 103 W. Acres.

 

WARD 2 MEETING

The Ward 2 Meeting, centering around both special election items and any matters specific to Ward 2, will take place at 6 p.m. 8/17/22 at the Whittier Recreation Center, 2000 W. Brooks.
