Norman Police Investigate Shooting in 900 block of Deonne Circle

The Norman Police Department responded to several reports of shots heard at approximately 12:40 a.m. September 29 in the 900 block of Deonne Circle. Once on scene, officers located one victim inside a residence.

The initial investigation into the incident indicates that the victim, later identified as 19-year-old Jalen Allen, was inside his residence when multiple shots were fired into the structure. One struck Allen in the leg. Allen sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and was later released.

Multiple suspects have been identified, but no arrests have been made. Investigators believe these shootings are connected to a string of recent shootings into residences and vehicles across Norman.
