NORMAN – The City of Norman welcomes Chief Communications Officer Tiffany Vrska, who began her tenure on Oct. 12, 2021, in the Office of the City Manager. Vrska brings more than a decade of communication experience to the organization and will assume duties related to media relations, community outreach and strategic planning.

“I am honored and privileged to have the opportunity to serve the community of Norman,” Vrska said. “It is my hope to keep citizens informed, enlightened and prepared. I look forward to further strengthening lines of communication and partnerships throughout our city government and forging new relationships with community partners.”

Vrska originally hails from Southwest Oklahoma and has worked in the public sector since 2015, specializing in public affairs. She is a former journalist and holds a bachelor of the arts degree in Communication from Cameron University. Her professional background includes extensive work in campaign management, policy writing, crisis communication, social media strategy, event coordination and branding development.
