City Offices Close Monday in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

January 15, 2021

The City of Norman Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The City will host the annual Mayor’s Interfaith Breakfast and a Citywide Day of Service in celebration of Dr. King’s legacy. Learn more about those events here.

Sanitation Division

There will be no impact to sanitation services including trash, recycling and commercial collection. The Compost Facility and Transfer Station will also remain open for regular hours. For questions call 405-329-1023.

Transit

There will be no impact to transit services.

Recreation

All recreation facilities will be closed on Monday with the exception of the 12th Avenue Recreation Center and the Westwood Golf Course.
