Norman voters will take to the polls on October 10 to cast ballots on a Bridge Maintenance Bond Program that would provide $50 million for the replacement, repair and rehabilitation of up to 18 bridges across the community. The City of Norman is solely responsible for the maintenance of 80 bridges and 300 culvert crossings.
Early voting takes place October 5 and 6. Residents are welcome to attend a community meeting on October 4 at City Hall, 201 W. Gray, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to have questions answered about the proposition. Those unable to attend can view a recording of the presentation to be given at the meeting on the City of Norman YouTube channel.
