The City of Norman Parks and Recreation Department and the Norman Optimist Club are proud to announce the Inaugural Young Family Athletic Center (YFAC) youth basketball league through a community partnership.

The new YFAC youth basketball league is for boys and girls in pre-k through 8th grade. Basketball games will be played primarily at the brand new Young Family Athletic Center, a new $42 million project funded through the Norman Forward quality of life initiative and a $4 million donation from the Trae Young Family Foundation.

League registration is now open through 12/15/23 and discounts are available through early bird registrations, which ends on 11/29/23. The league will include an 8-game season, both pre-season and post-season tournaments. The YFAC league will start in mid-January and end by Spring Break. Every participant will also receive a free Adidas YFAC jersey and shorts because of a donation through the Trae Young Family Foundation.
