Waterline replacement to close Legacy Trail between Robinson and Acres along James Garner, thru-traffic in residential areas to be impacted

March 28, 2022

In conjunction with the James Garner Avenue extension project, the existing waterline will be replaced between Highland Parkway and Robinson Street. Work is expected to begin today 3/28/22 and will require sections of the existing Legacy Trail to be removed. The trail will be replaced once the waterline replacement is complete. Citizens will be detoured along Flood Ave and through Highland Parkway. In addition, this will require Hays, Mosier, and Himes to be closed west of Front Street; no thru-traffic will be allowed.

Work is expected to be completed by Contractor Southwest Water Works by July 2022.
