All-Way Stop Control to be installed at 168th Ave NE & Indian Hills

Installation of All-Way Stop Control will occur on 11/29/22 at 168th Avenue NE and Indian Hills Road.

The installation is the result of an intersection evaluation brought on by a citizen concern. During the intersection evaluation, it was determined that a lack of sight distance looking to the east from the intersection warrants an all-way STOP conversion. City staff coordinated with Cleveland County officials to plan installation, as an intersection leg is within the jurisdiction of the County.

Changes will include “STOP” signs with all-way plates on all three approaches, as well as “Stop Ahead” signs on both Indian Hills Road approaches to the intersection.  Flags will be added temporarily to all new signs to bring attention to the control changes.
