Storm debris pickup to take place on private roads and continue in public right-of-ways until April 8, 2023

Property owners on private roads must request service, complete form

Through special circumstance as part of the declared Disaster of Emergency in the City of Norman following the February 26 tornado, storm debris pickup will occur on private roads (by request) in addition to public right-of-ways through April 8. Debris pickup will continue being executed by contractors and will take place in zoned areas. To date, more than 600 tons of debris has been collected.

do hereby request aid in Debris Removal and therefore grant and give freely and without coercion, the right of access and entry to said property to the City of Norman, Oklahoma, or the United States Government, its employees, agents, contractors, and subcontractors thereof, pursuant to all applicable laws for the purpose of removing and clearing any or all tornado generated debris of whatever nature from the above described property frontage per guidelines provided for debris removal operations.

It is fully understood that this permit is not an obligation to perform debris clearance.  The undersigned agrees and warrants to hold harmless, the City of Norman, the State of Oklahoma, and the United States Government, their agencies, contractors, and subcontractors, for damage of any type, whatsoever, either to the above described property frontage or persons situated thereon and hereby release, discharge and waive any action, either legal or equitable that might arise out of any activities on the above described property.
