High school diploma or equivalent and sixty (60) hours of college credits required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience that relates to a full knowledge of procedures in processing crime scenes and analyzing evidence. Experience in the workings of chemical or crime laboratories preferred. Must possess a valid state driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record. Ability to obtain O.S.B.I. certification for the analysis of marijuana within one (1) year of employment and maintain annual proficiency certification administered by the OSBI. Ability to obtain I.A.I. or other comparable certification as a Latent Print Examiner. Ability to obtain I.A.I. or other comparable certification in Crime Scene Processing.
