RFP 2324-43 YFAC Pickleball Courts

The City of Norman Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting proposals for the construction of a lighted, outdoor six (6) post-tensioned concrete pickleball court facility, including all associated court surfacing, striping, lighting, fencing and nets at the Young Family Athletic Center, addressed above. Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2024. The primary project cost includes all permits, plan review, site preparation, labor, and all materials, testing, and inspection costs associated with this type of construction. All work shall receive inspection and approval consistent with similar construction in Norman and should, thus, be accounted for in all proposals.

RFP 2324-49 Opioid Abatement Program Partnerships

The City of Norman intends to apply for Opioid Abatement Grant(s) from the Oklahoma Opioid Abatement Board and is seeking proposals from qualified non-profit agencies to partner with the City to address the effects of opioids in our community. The selected partners must submit proposals that use evidence-based, forward looking strategies, programming and services for approved purposes pursuant to the Political Subdivisions Opioid Abatement Grants Act. (74 Okla. Stat. ยง30.3 et seq.) Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. on March 4, 2024.

RFQ 2324-44 Westwood Master Plan

The PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT of the City of Norman, Oklahoma, is soliciting proposals for DESIGN SERVICES. 


These services will be for the design of a master plan for Westwood Park, located at 2400 Westport Drive, Norman, Oklahoma.

Webster, Norman, OK 73069, until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, the 30th  day of May, 2024, for and on behalf of the CITY OF NORMAN, for furnishing all tools, material and labor, and performing the work necessary for construction of the 60TH AVE NE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT, FYE 2024.  Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Office of the Purchasing Officer, 225 N. Webster, Norman, OK 73069 at 2:00 p.m.  No bids will be accepted after 2:00 p.m.

 

A non-mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Development Center Conference Room B, located at 225 N. Webster, Norman, Oklahoma 73069.  Questions related to this contract will be answered up to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24th, 2024.  Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding all local conditions.  For information concerning the proposed work, or the scheduled Pre-bid Conference, contact Brandon L. Reimbursement Programs

Unhoused Transit Services

The City has a non-profit mileage reimbursement program for agencies who transport persons experiencing homelessness. This program is designed to provide limited transportation reimbursement to qualified non-profit agencies who provide transportation services to specified program locations for individuals and families in Norman who are currently or who have recently experienced homelessness.
