The City of Norman's Household Hazardous Waste Facility (HHWF) is open to Norman residents by appointment only.

The facility, adjacent to the Transfer Station, is located at 3803 Chautauqua Avenue. Norman residents can make an appointment to visit the facility on Wednesdays through Saturdays between 9 AM and 3 PM. Please be sure to bring your proof of residency. A Norman water or sanitation bill will work!

Appointments can be requested by calling 405.366.5463 or by emailing HouseholdHazardousWaste@normanok.gov. Before requesting an appointment, we highly recommend reviewing the resource provided first, especially the appointment process resources. This will help clarify and expedite the appointment process for you.

Tires, oil, oil filters, used cooking oil/grease and antifreeze are accepted, at no charge, year-round in the self-serve area east of the HHW facility within the Transfer Station Compound.
