Virtual Neighborhood Meeting for the CDBG Neighborhoods
In accordance with the Citizen Participation Plan, a neighborhood meeting is held annually with the residents that reside within the Target Area for the Community Development Block Grant. At the past meetings we have had representatives from the Code Compliance Division as well as the Norman Police Department in attendance for you to discuss face to face issues and concerns that you are having. Given the current situation we feel that conducting this opportunity virtually is the best solution. If you reside within the area, we would encourage you to provide us some information pertaining to your neighborhood.
The link below is to an opportunity to provide us with information. All responses will be evaluated and forwarded to other City departments as warranted. Also please indicate if you would like to serve on the CDBG Policy Committee. This Committee meets approximately six times per year to discuss and provide guidance for the CDBG and HOME programs. HUD has provided a waiver allowing virtual meetings, so currently Policy Committee all meetings will be held via Zoom.
