While developing her career in a leadership role with a large dental organization, Councilmember Brandi Studley earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration through the University of Phoenix. She is the co-founder of a local group that provides meals to the homeless five nights a week. She has been doing volunteer work in Norman since childhood, spending many of her summers at the J.D. McCarty Center helping children with disabilities and also working with seniors at Four Season Nursing home. Through these efforts, she understands the importance of accessibility and equality for all people across our community and helping them find a voice is what motivated her to run for City Council.
Ward One includes the area east of 12th Avenue N.E. between Alameda Street and Lindsey Street extending to 48th Avenue S.E. and between 12th Avenue S.E. and 24th Avenue S.E. with the west boundary being Classen Boulevard and State Highway Nine being the southern boundary.
Brandi has lived in Ward 1 most of her life. As a homeowner and mother of three, she chose to raise her family here because she loves the diversity and neighborly compassion of our community. As your council member, she promises to fearlessly represent the voices of Ward 1 at City Hall. She supports working toward housing security and accessibility, improving transportation, and believes in bringing neighborhoods together through community events and supporting youth outreach through art and self-expression.
Councilmember Studley serves on the Community Planning and Transportation Committee and the Oversight Committee.
