College Students

The Sooner Tennis Club is open to the whole community including undergrad and graduate students attending any surrounding college or university.

We hope to encourage and promote the game of tennis within our community and to enable all interested and appropriately skilled players The chance to participate for the fall and spring semester there will be dues required by all members of the Sooner Tennis Club. The dues for the current semester are set at $45 per person per semester
or $80 for the school year. This insures that the Westwood courts are reserved for tennis club members; it allows the club to purchase rackets at the Westwood Tennis Shop at a discounted price and also allows the club to hold special events. The dues also covers all practices throughout school year.

Tennis on Campus
By joint the Sooner Tennis Club, players will have the opportunity to try out for the OU USTA/Tennis on Campus team. The USTA Tennis On Campus program is designed to provide college students with opportunities for team camaraderie, social networking, and rivaled competition through tennis without the rigors of a varsity program. Perfect for athletes who have chosen not to make the jump from high school to college varsity, Tennis On Campus offers co-ed team-based play, regional and national championship competition, and helps students maintain active and healthy lifestyles through their college years.
