UPDATE, 9/29/25: The Department of Public Works reports work is substantially complete and this area is back open.

POSTED 7/1/25: Redlands Contracting will begin rehabilitation efforts of the bridge over Merkle Creek located between Merkle Drive and Hal Muldrow Drive on 7/7/25. This work is expected to last for a duration of 120 days (expected completion: November 2025). Both eastbound and westbound lanes of West Main Street will experience intermittent lane closures. Alternate routes are advised during this construction.

This project is made possible by Norman voters as part of the Bridge by Bridge Bond Program, approved in 2023.
