A section of Wylie Road between W. Brooks Street and Avondale Drive will is temporarily closed  to allow for construction of a sanitary sewer tie-in in the area. The closure is expected to remain in place through Wednesday, April 22, 2026, weather permitting.

Details about motorist access can be found below. Alternate routes are advised.

• Northbound access to Brooks from Wylie is closed.
• Southbound access to Brooks from Wylie is available for residents.
• Northbound access to Avondale from Wylie is available.

During construction, the contractor will work to maintain local access for those residing in the area through detour routes.
