UPDATE, 4/28/26: The contractor has requested another closure in this area of Lindsey Street to complete work, which is related to a private project at a residence. 

The westbound lane of W. Lindsey Street between S. Lahoma Avenue and S. Flood Avenue will be closed again on April 29, 2026 for construction. Detour routes will be in place for the traveling public. Motorists should drive with caution in the area and adhere to all traffic control measures in place.

POSTED 4/27/26: The westbound lane of W. Lindsey Street between S. Lahoma Avenue and S. Flood Avenue will be closed by a contractor for sewer line work on April 28, 2026 (pending weather). Detour routes will be in place for the traveling public. Motorists should drive with caution in the area and adhere to all traffic control measures in place.

This area of roadway is expected to close at 7:30 a.m. and reopen by 6 p.m. on April 28.
