Partial Closure of Sutton Wilderness Trail beginning next week

*UPDATE, 2/17/22: Parks reports this area has been reopened.*

Posted 2/11/22: The North Entrance into the trail will be temporarily closed starting Feb. 14 for approximately 10 working days. This closure will allow the Park Maintenance and Stormwater Maintenance divisions to collaborate in the repair to permit the stormwater runoff from 12th Avenue NE to flow in the lake without washing out in the trail area. Signage will be posted at the trailhead at the park and along the trail to notify hikers and runners of the work ahead.
