Norman Parks and Recreation will be opening equipment and facilities in alignment with the Mayor's Healthier at Home Plan.
In addition to site-specific guideline at each facility, all facilities will have the following in place:
- Employees and Volunteers will wear face coverings and do daily temperature checks
- Social Distance guidelines will be strictly followed at all Parks and Recreation facilities
- High traffic areas will be sanitized multiple times a day

All Norman Parks and Recreation Facilities and Programs will abide by
- Employees and Volunteers will wear face coverings when dealing with the public

Phase 1A Openings (Goal of May 1,2020)
Westwood Golf Course opens with the following restrictions
- No touching of flag sticks
- Sand bottles, sand buckets, rakes, ball washers and water jugs have been removed from the course.
- Credit card purchases only
- Driving range is closed
- Individual cart riders only (Unless living in same household)
- Only 2 carts per tee time
- No more than 2 patrons inside of clubhouse at a time
- Golf Grill operations operate outside of clubhouse
- Practice greens closed
- No League Play or Tournaments Westwood
Tennis opens with the following restrictions
- Leave open courts between courts being used
- Gates leading to courts will remain open to minimize touching
- No more than 2 patrons inside of clubhouse at a time
- Max of four people on a court at a time
- Indoor facility remains closed
- No Tournaments / Clinics or Camps
Outdoor Tennis Courts, Pickle Ball Courts, Soccer Goals and Baseball Backstops will open Disc Golf Courses will open
Groups limited to 4 players max
Firehouse Art Center can open

Santa Fe Depot can open

Sooner Theater can open

Phase 1B Openings & Adjustments (Goal of May 15, 2020)
Outdoor Youth Sports programs and Outdoor Athletic Complexes can open for practice only

Phase 2 Openings & Adjustments (Goal of May 29, 2020)
12th Avenue, Irving and Whittier Recreation Centers will open and operate Child Care Programs with the following exceptions
- Take temperatures of all children at check in daily
- Adults checking children in and out of the building must stay outside of the building
- Keep groups of children at 25 or less separated and in different classrooms or areas of facility
- No field trips
- Sanitizing equipment, games and high traffic areas frequently
Little Axe Community Center may open for youth activities with the following exceptions
- Take temperatures of all children at check in daily
- Adults checking children in and out of the building must stay outside of the building
- Keep groups of children at 25 or less separated and in different classrooms or areas of facility
- No field trips
- Sanitizing equipment, games and high traffic areas frequently
Westwood Golf Course same restrictions as in Phase 1A with the exceptions:
- League play and tournaments can resume
- Golf Grill will fully open with to-go meals only
- Patrons in club house are raised to 10 people
Westwood Tennis same restrictions as in Phase 1 with the exceptions:
- Indoor facility can open
- Tournaments / Clinics and Camps can resume
- All courts can be used
Westwood Family Aquatics Center will open with the following restrictions
- Park capacity will be 50 %
- Park will close every 3 hours for cleaning and sanitizing of facility
- No classes
- Decreased amount of lounge chairs and sanitation of chairs after usages
- Wet Deck will be closed
- No Special Events or Party Rentals
- Gates around the zero depth pool will remain open
- Morning activities including water walking and lap swimming will resume under social distancing guidelines
Sooner Theater
Theater Capacity will be 50%
Phase 3 Openings & Adjustments Goal of (June 12, 2020)
Westwood Family Aquatic same restrictions as in Phase 2 with the exceptions:
- Park capacity will be increased to 100%
- Classes will begin
- Wet Deck will open
- No mid-day cleaning
Westwood Golf Course same restrictions as in Phase 1A & 2 with the exceptions:
- Tee times will go back to regular times
- Golf Cart restrictions are lifted
12th Avenue, Irving and Whittier Recreation Centers Child Care Programs same restrictions as Phase 2 with the exceptions
- Centers can go on field trips
Sooner Theater
- Theater capacity will be increased to 100%
Park Amenities
- Splash Pads will open
- Park Rentals
Outdoor Youth Sports can start league play
