Norman Parks & Recreation to host “Forever Young” event

April 7, 2022

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022

The Norman Parks & Recreation will host “Forever Young: Get Out, Get Active, Get Plugged In,” a free community event intended for those 55 and up that includes outdoor games, health and wellness screenings, food, door prizes, a live DJ, line dancing and more! The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 9 at Andrews Park, which is located at 201 W. Daws.

“It’s important that we work to stay active and healthy, no matter our age,” said BJ Brewer, recreation coordinator at the Norman Senior Center. “This fun-filled event will have a ton of different activities and programs to choose from that will get minds and bodies moving.”
