Four NPD Officers Complete Firearms Instructor Training

Four Norman Police Department officers have completed the extensive two-week training to become state accredited firearms instructors.

MPO Elliot Gribaudo, MPO Jenny Bryan, MPO Jamie Crowe, and Officer Joshua Rojales have successfully finished the CLEET Pistol Instructor, CLEET Shotgun Instructor, and CLEET Rifle Instructor portions of the training. They will complete the final stage of accreditation in the next Norman Police Academy where they will assist and teach the complete CLEET Firearms training block.

The firearm instructor training included 11 officers from across Oklahoma. Of those, MPO Crowe earned the prestigious Top Shot Award. This award is based on performance throughout all phases of training including a head-to-head finals competition with the most proficient officers in firearms.
