As community partners, the City of Norman is collaborating with the Absentee Shawnee Tribe (AST) to complete a Safety Action Plan – a plan that will help improve roadway safety in our region. The area of interest in reference to the plan includes several City of Norman streets and roadways. As such, City officials are encouraging residents to complete a Community Survey to ensure the Plan reflects the experiences and priorities of AST community members. As outlined in the survey, such community members include AST Tribal Members, AST Employees, Individuals living in the study area, Individuals working in the study area, and more. A map of the study area is available when accessing the digital survey, or can also be viewed here.
