2022 Annual COSWA Rain Barrel Sale

Central Oklahoma Stormwater Alliance taking orders through March 20 & March 27.

The Central Oklahoma Stormwater Alliance, a partner organization of the City of Norman, has partnered with Upcycle Products Inc. to kick off the annual rain barrel sale for community members aiming to conserve water, lower bills, and reduce runoff pollution and erosion.

Barrels and associated items – ranging from plant hangers to diverters and barrel pedestals – range in price beginning at $21. Mail-in order forms are due by March 20; online orders are due by March 27. Download or complete either form at Norman/Noble/Moore - Upcycle Products Inc. (upcycle-products.com). Pickup will be April 1 from 4-6 p.m. and April 2 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 668 E. Lindsey Street in Norman. Sales will not be made on-site. Pre-orders are required.

Promotional partners include the City of Noble and the City of Moore. Orders may be placed for all interested parties, to include non-residents.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, garden and lawn watering accounts for 40 percent of residential water use during the summer. The typical gardner can save 1,300 gallons of water during the growing season thanks to a rain barrel’s water catch.

The Central Oklahoma Stormwater Alliance is a central Oklahoma-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization composed of municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s), public agencies and private businesses that collaborate and pool resources to satisfy Oklahoma Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (OPDES) permit obligations on a regional level.
