Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must be at least 16 years of age.
Education and Experience: Applicant must have golf and cash handling experience.
Skills: Must have good oral communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient computer skills.
Mental and Physical Abilities: Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to deal effectively and cooperatively with the public. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy (25-50 lb.) supplies, materials, and equipment occasionally. Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance.
Additional Information: Applicant must have a telephone number where they may be reached. Selected applicant must a background investigation, physical examination, and drug screen.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions: Opens and closes the golf shop. Responds to questions and complaints or prob-lems from the public. Receives and records revenues for green fees, cart rentals, club rentals, club re-pairs, locker rentals, range balls, and pro shop merchandise. Accounts for monies collected. Orders, re-ceives, logs in, and stocks merchandise; arranges displays of merchandise. Maintains computerized stock and sales records. Schedules tee times; assists customers in the shop. Maintains schedule for Golf Course Attendants. Performs custodial and other related duties as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Most of the work is performed indoors. Work requires continued standing, stooping, lifting, and some climbing.
