The City of Norman and Pioneer Library System are partnering to host a comprehensive small business workshop aimed at empowering aspiring entrepreneurs and side hustlers in the community. The free workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on 3/25/25 at the Norman Public Library East (3051 Alameda)

This informative session will feature expert presentations from the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center (OSBDC), REI Oklahoma, and SCORE, covering essential topics for anyone looking to start or grow a business. Participants will gain valuable insights into:

Business Basics: Laying the foundation for a successful venture.

Starting a Side Hustle: Turning passion projects into profitable endeavors.

Introduction to Writing a Business Plan: Creating a roadmap for success.

The primary goal of this workshop is to connect aspiring entrepreneurs with crucial business assistance and direct them to existing local resources. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with presenters and fellow community members, fostering a supportive environment for business growth.
