3rd Annual Calendar Contest

At Norman Parks and Recreation (NPR), we want to see how you connect with Norman Parks through your camera lens.
The theme of our 2022 calendar is “Norman Parks” and we are having a contest to select the 14 images that will be in this year's calendar.
There is no purchase, payment, or entry fee necessary to enter or to win.

THE DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 10 AT 11:59 P.M.
Eligibility: The contest is open to all artists/photographers amateur or professional. Each individual entrant may submit up to three (3) photographs. Each potential winner may have only one (1) photograph selected for the calendar.
Entry Terms and Conditions: The aim of the Contest is to obtain original photographs with a caption related to the contest theme from artists who live in or around Norman to be published in the NPR 2021 calendar.
1. Take or select a previously taken photograph that depicts “Norman Parks” and includes a written description.
2. Post your photo with the written DESCRIPTION to this Facebook event page.
3. If you do not have access to Facebook email your photograph to [email protected].
Note: Each photograph you submit in the contest must be your own original work and must have not been previously published in any commercial publication.
Contest Prizes: Depending on the final design of NPR 2021 calendar, NPR will select a minimum of twelve (12) and a maximum of fifteen (14) winners in the contest. Each individual entrant may have only one (1) photograph selected for the calendar. Each winner’s submission will be published in NPR 2020 Calendar. Winners will receive $100 for an entry that represents a month in the calendar picture and one person will receive $250 if entry makes the cover.
Photograph specifications: If your photo is chosen each photograph must be in digital format between 8 - 20 megapixels (minimum 2550 x 3300 pixels). No print submissions will be accepted for entry into this contest. All photographs must be high resolution (300dpi - 600dpi) .tif or .jpg. Please note that photographs need not be taken with a digital camera: scans of negatives or transparencies are acceptable. Photographs that fail to meet these specifications will automatically be disqualified.
Permission to Use Entry Photography: By entering the contest, each contestant agrees that NPR may publish his or her captioned photograph in the NPR 2021 calendar and exhibit, copy, publish, make derivative works from or otherwise use his or her entry photograph and other entry materials for any purpose, in any media, in perpetuity, without limitation or additional permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Limitations of Liability.
