- Consider preparing an at-home disaster supplies kit with enough food, water and general supplies to last your household a few days. Learn more here.

Note that as a precautionary measure to protect facilities, restrooms at public parks may be closed during extremely low temperatures. Updates and information pertaining to recreation centers or sites managed through the Department of Parks & Recreation will be posted to the NPR Facebook Page.
The City of Norman is a water utility service provider. Water concerns or outages can be reported to 405-329-0703 during traditional business hours or to 405-321-1600 any other time. Report other utility concerns or outages to your household providers such as OGE, OEC, or OERB. Dial 911 if there is an emergency. During extreme winter weather, waste collection in Norman may be delayed. Residents should keep their polycarts at the curb until serviced. Questions can be directed to the City of Norman Sanitation Division at 405-329-1023.
Norman shelters, operated by partner agencies, are located at the corner of James Garner and West Gray Street and at 201 Reed Avenue. Homeowners and businesses who have undergone damage from winter storms are asked by the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management to report online at damage.ok.gov. Reporting helps emergency managers better understand the impacts to Oklahoma communities and can help connect residents to state or local resources.
