Santa’s Coming to Town on a Fire Truck Christmas Eve

Santa’s coming to town on a fire truck this Christmas Eve! The Norman Fire Department will escort Ol’ Saint Nick through Norman neighborhoods to spread holiday cheer.

Santa will make his tour through neighborhoods near fire stations from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on December 24. Due to the ongoing pandemic, no candy will be handed out. Truck lights will be on and the sirens will intermittently sound to let kids know Santa is on his way.

“This event is about the kids. At the end of an incredibly difficult year, we are excited to bring a little fun to this holiday season and who knows, maybe Santa will need a lift next year too,” said Norman Fire Chief Travis King.

Visit the NFD Facebook page to see maps of Santa’s route. Times may vary depending on calls for emergency response.

Before he makes his way around town with the Fire Department, Santa will be available with Norman children straight from his house to yours with time slots available Tuesday and Wednesday. If you have multiple children, sign them up separately or they will need to talk to Santa all within the same time slot. Sign up here.
