Mission:

To provide effective, efficient wastewater treatment for the City Of Norman. Protection of local environmental resources and the protection of health and water quality.

 

Goals:

Eliminate pollutants that are harmful to aquatic life.

 

Objectives:

Reduce environmental impact of treated wastewater discharged to the receiving stream.

 

Performance Indicators:

Continued compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems permit requirements for treatment process discharges.

 

Performance Measurement:

Maintenance of low levels of ammonia-nitrogen and reduction of pesticides entering the sewage system through public education and pollution prevention programs.
