Preserving our open space and connecting greenspaces through the use of trails and city parks is yet another way to preserve Norman's identity and maintain a optimum quality of life. It is my hope that my children will have the opportunities to play outdoors, explore nature and safely walk throughout our community. Our efforts to create a structured greenbelt system is a wonderful opportunity to create a legacy for future generations of Normanites and Oklahomans.
