Greenbelt Commission
Update as of November, 2010
A subcommittee of the Greenbelt Commission worked with staff during 2009-2010 to develop amendments to the existing Greenbelt Commission ordinance.
The City Council Planning and Community Development Committee worked with staff to refine the proposed ordinance. The draft was reviewed by the City Council at their August 17th Study Session. Modifications resulting from that review were incorporated into the ordinance, which was adopted by City Council on October 12, 2010, and became effective on November 11, 2010.

Norman Greenbelt Enhancement Statement Application
Greenway Master Plan-The City Council accepted the draft Greenway Master Plan in conjunction with the Storm Water Master Plan at their November 10th, 2009 City Council meeting. The Greenbelt Commission has identified several modifications that will need to be made before the plan is ready to present to the Community as a final document. It is anticipated that modifications will be completed during 2011.
