at Reaves Park

A new community built playground was constructed in Reaves
Park. Volunteers built the 13,000 square foot playground in five
days. The children of Norman designed the playground. Drawings, from
kids in the Norman Schools, were submitted to the architect who incorporated the
ideas into the playground design. 3000 volunteers - from children who
could sand wood to anyone that could lift a hammer - joined together to build
this playground. Not just any playground... but a playground so
wonderful only our children could have dreamed of it.
