Profile Ward 4

Councilmember Lee HallCouncilmember Lee Hall has resided in Ward 4 for a total of 20 years and intends to be a strong voice for the unique opportunities and challenges faced by Ward 4 residents. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in History and a master’s degree in Library and Information Science. Prior to being appointed as the Ward 4 Councilmember, she served on the Center City Administrative Delay Ad Hoc Committee, the Community Development Block Grant Policy Committee and the Historic District Commission Subcommittee for Guidelines and Ordinance and participated in the Center City Visioning Project. She has also been actively involved in the Chautauqua Historic District Neighborhood Association.

Ward Four encompasses Robinson Street to Lindsey Street with an east boundary of 12th Avenue West and a west boundary of Berry Road excluding the area north of Acres Street.  It also includes a southwestern ‘leg’ south of Lindsey extending to Imhoff Road stretching between Berry Road and Chautauqua Avenue.

Councilmember Hall is committed to sustaining and promoting a vibrant core Norman by recognizing the need for historic preservation as well as achieving the vision intended for Center City to expand housing options and enhance walkability, building strong neighborhood organizations and alliances, addressing stormwater and infrastructure challenges, finding solutions for affordable housing and homelessness and supporting efforts to build a diverse and inclusive community where we can all live, work and play.

Councilmember Hall serves on the Council Community Planning and Transportation Committee and on the Council Oversight Committee.  She also serves as the Council’s representative to VisitNorman.
