Monday Lane Closure – 24th Avenue NW (Boardwalk to Robinson Street)

Beginning on Monday, September 30, 2019, certain lanes of 24th
Avenue NW, from Boardwalk to Robinson Street, will be closed in phases for an
intersection modification and traffic signalization project at the 24th
Avenue NW and Tee Drive-Tee Circle intersection. At least one lane of 24th
Avenue NW in each direction will be open to traffic at all times throughout the
project. In addition to the signalization of the intersection, the project will
widen the intersection, install dedicated left-turn lanes onto Tee Drive and
Tee Circle, improve drainage, and update street lighting to LED on the corridor
north to Robinson Street.

The general contractor for the construction is Crossland
Heavy Contractors of Tulsa, OK. Olsson Associates will be providing the
inspection/contract administration services on behalf of the Oklahoma Department
of Transportation. This $1,475,000 project is being funded with 80% federal and
20% local funds. Construction traffic control will be installed to direct
traffic. Local access will be maintained at all times for the businesses
adjacent to the work site. The project is scheduled to be completed in late
February 2020.
