James Garner south of Acres to close Monday

UPDATE: Due to recent rains, this street is now scheduled to reopen by 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 24.


James Garner Avenue, just south of Acres Street, will close Monday at approximately 8 a.m. to allow a contractor for Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) to relocate a gas main in advance of the James Garner and Acres Intersection Project. The street will reopen by 9 a.m. on August 21.

Signs will be in place to direct motorists.
The James Garner and Acres Street Intersection Project, which includes a new, relocated intersection and improved stormwater system, requires the relocation of a number of existing utilities. 
The contractor for ONG is B&H Construction.
