Informational Meeting

**Attention All Potential Police Applicants**

In an effort to continue attracting qualified police applicants, the Norman Police Department will begin hosting “Recruiting Informational Meetings” during our active recruiting periods. Currently, we are hiring for the 48th Norman Police Academy, tentatively scheduled to begin September 10, 2010. These meetings are designed for anyone who has either applied to be a police officer or who is considering applying. Applicants and potential applicants will have the opportunity to view a short presentation on the hiring process, physical requirements, benefits package, etc. There will
also be time for potential applicants to ask questions regarding the process.

These meetings will be held at the NPD Firearms Training Range, located at 3942 Jenkins Ave.  It should be noted that attending a meeting is not mandatory and is only an opportunity to obtain more information.

Seating will be limited so reserve a seat by emailing the Police Recruiter, Master Police Officer Chad Vincent, at police.recruiting@normanok.gov.
