Greenbelt Commission
Where: 201 W. Gray, City Hall, Multi-Purpose Room
The Greenbelt Commission will present a proposed “draft” of the amended Greenbelt Ordinance to the public at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, January 25, 2010. The “draft” amended ordinance, written and refined by a subcommittee of the Greenbelt Commission clarifies the role of the commission, in particular, regarding the review of proposed developments. The community is invited to attend the meeting and share their comments about the “draft” amended ordinance. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 in the Multi-Purpose Room of 201 West Gray Street.
The proposed “draft” amended Greenbelt Ordinance may be accessed from the City of Norman website at http://www.normanok.gov/planning/greenbelt-commission . Additionally, citizens are welcome pick up a hard copy of the “draft” amended Greenbelt Ordinance at city offices. Copies are available in the lobby of 201-A West Gray Street in the Planning Department.
The Greenbelt Commission Members along with city staff look forward to much community participation at the January 25th, 2010 meeting.
