Tours: For information regarding tours of City Hall, the Police Station and the Fire Station, please call the City Clerk at (405) 366-5406.
Traffic Accidents/Violations: To report a traffic accident or obtain an official accident report, please call the Norman Police Department at (405) 321-1600 and ask for Records. To get information on the status of a traffic violation, please call the Norman Municipal Court at (405) 366-5325.
Traffic Counts: For information about the volume of traffic on city streets, call the City of Norman Engineering Division at (405) 366-5452.
Traffic Fines: To determine a fine amount for a traffic violation, call the City of Norman Municipal Court at (405) 366-5325.
Traffic Signals: To report a traffic signal that is not working, call the City of Norman Public Works Department at (405) 366-5452. After hours, or on weekends and holidays, call the Police Department at (405) 321-1600. For information about new traffic signal installation and signal design, call the Engineering Division at (405) 366-5452.
Traffic Signs: To report a missing or damaged traffic sign or to request the installation of a new traffic sign, call the City of Norman Public Works Department at (405) 366-5452. In an emergency, or after hours, call (405) 321-1600.
Traffic Studies: Traffic studies are the basis for installation of new traffic signals, crosswalks, speed limit changes, etc. To inquire about a traffic study, call the Engineering Division at (405) 366-5452.
Trash Collection: For information, contact the Sanitation Division at (405) 329-1023.
Trees - planting, removal: For information on the following services, call a Code Compliance Inspector at (405) 366-5332:
- Permission to plant trees or shrubs in the street right-of-way (parking area), drainage ways or park areas.
- Dead or hazardous tree removal in the street or park areas.
- Permission to remove trees near public streets.
- Dead or hazardous trees on private property; the city can enforce tree removal or pruning for unsafe conditions. Tree limbs encroaching on private property and not dangerous must be resolved between property owners.
